Okay, has anyone else had issues with the spam robot challenges? This is the step you have to do when you're not logged in and want to post to a journal that requires that you be a registered user. You are given the option to log in at the time you post.

However, they've added a new feature where you must type in the combination of letters and numbers you see on the screen to confirm that you are a human, and not a robot. I have no problem with this step, however, IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO READ THE FRIGGIN' CHARACTERS.

I just tried literally 9 times with 4-5 separate combos and not one of them were accepted. The characters appear with a sort of scratchy text, I guess to throw off machines with OCR capability. Well guess what LJ -- it throws off us humans too!
